PPOUSA Network is a preferred provider network that includes a full range of health care professionals and facilities. The network is owned and operated by Government Employees Health Association, Inc. Our knowledgeable and experienced Network Development Staff has built the network from the ground up, starting in 1998 with eight states and continuing its success and growth each year.

PPO USA Network is administered by GEHA, a health care plan built on over 70 years of dedicated service to federal employees. GEHA utilizes the PPO USA Network to offer a PPO option in all 20 network PPO USA states. They are:

Excellent Customer Service
Founded on the goal of providing a direct relationship between the Participating Provider and the Payor, PPO USA Network excels in service. PPO USA Network's Provider Relations Department includes 14 specially-trained individuals. Our Provider Relations staff brings together more than 150 years of customer service-related experience. We want to make participating in our network as easy and low-maintenance as possible for you and your staff.

Individual Account Management
When participating in a PPO network, each Participating Provider deserves individual account management. At PPO USA Network, we take pride in delivering hassle-free network administration. Our Provider Relations Department is here to assist you with any network issues or contract concerns that may arise.

For incoming calls, Provider Relations' average speed of answer is less than 30 seconds. All messages left for this department are handled in an expeditious manner, and our staff members will make every effort to assist you with all of your questions and concerns.

Prompt Claims Payment
We require that all payors' reimbursements be made to your office in an accurate and timely manner. In fact, 80% of all GEHA claims are reimbursed within 11 working days of their receipt. GEHA will ensure that any future payors that utilize the PPO USA Network will also pay claims promptly.

Directed Business
We require that all payors using our network have a financial incentive for its members to select PPO USA Network Participating Providers versus out-of-network providers. GEHA has as much as a 25% financial incentive, and we will ensure any future payors have financial incentives as well. In addition, all payors (including GEHA) must direct business to Participating Providers through printed directories, online directories or telephone directories. GEHA uses all three types of directories to send its members to you.

Our roots are firmly established in excellent customer service and individual account maintenance, and we will ensure you receive prompt claims payment and directed business. We take pride in being a relatively small, yet highly- responsive PPO network, and we think you will like and value our home-grown feel as well.
